Introduction
RESSA hard shell fireproof intumescent seal strip is made of the graphite based intumescent seal strip inside and the PVC hard shell outside. It is stalled or stick in the fireproof doors. When fire happens, the intumescent seal strip will expand into 10-30times to seal the space between the frame and door to avoid the smoke and fire spreading to the safe room. There are no smoke and fire leakage during this period to supply human being enough time to escape from the fire.

Installation
RESSASEAL® RYZ series PVC box Intumescent materials intended for use with the operating gaps in fire safes and gun safe are usually marketed as strips as such extruding that are fixed with adhesive into grooves in the door leaf edge or in the door frame opposite the door leaf.
① Select the appropriate seal using the door test evidence, which will identify the size intumescent seal required.
② The seal needs to be located centrally in either the door leaf or frame.
③ Rout a groove suitable for the size of intumescent seal selected. Clean and remove any dust. Remove the self-adhesive
backing liner from the product and push fit into the routed groove.
④ To achieve excellent adhesion seals must be applied to clean, dry surfaces at temperatures between +5℃ and +40℃.
Package
RESSASEAL® RYZ series PVC box Intumescent Seals are packed in the corrugated carton and usually 200pcs in each carton outside covered by waterproof bag and fixed by packing straps.
